General description: From the Peony family, it is a rustic flower of simple beauty very used in the Portuguese Easter processions; an endangered species, and we love it.


 


GROWING CONDITIONS

Climate: Mild. It does not tolerate low temperatures and prefers direct sun.

Soil: Rich and well drained.

Watering: Regular and abundant

Associations: Lettuce, Beans, Basil, Melon, Corn.

Sowing time: Depending on the variety, between January and June or April and June.

Harvest time: 85 to 150 days after planting.
