General description: Originating from Europe, it is an aromatic perennial herb with a flavor reminiscent of onion. Its growth mode in height, allowing the frequent cutting of its leaves, makes it an ideal plant for the aromatic bed.


 

GROWING CONDITIONS

Climate: Places with good sun exposure. In regions where summer temperatures are extreme, it is recommended to use partial shade.

Soil: Fertile and with good drainage. Soil pH should be between 6.0 and 6.8.

Watering: Requires regular watering. If the soil has a good percentage of organic matter, it leads to a reduction in watering frequency. A drip irrigation system is a good option.

Associations: Lettuce, Radish, Carrot, Radish, Cabbage, Rocket, Tomato.

Sowing season: From January to July.

Harvest time: From January to December.
