GROWING CONDITIONS

Climate: This is a crop that likes high temperatures. Southern exposure is favorable, leading to additional warmth.

Soil: The crop prefers light, deep, rich, well-drained soils and should have a pH between 6.0 and 6.8.

Watering: Due to the water requirements throughout the crop cycle, the drip irrigation system is indicated. Avoid watering during the week before full maturity as this can seriously affect the quality of the fruit.

Sowing time: From April to June.

Harvest time: From July to October.
