Students visited the National Museum of Natural History and Science’s seed bank

In November, the Natural Museum of Natural History and Science, in Lisbon, received around 275 students from the 1st and 2nd cycles as part of the project “Germinar a seed bank”, of which it is a partner.

This project is financed by the Lisbon City Council's Bip/Zip – Neighborhoods and Priority Intervention Zones program and the activities took place at the AL Belo Correia Seed Bank and the Lisbon Botanical Garden in order to raise the awareness of young people to the importance of safeguarding the plant genetic heritage of Portugal's flora.
