Online seed archive "Germinar um banco de sementes" launched
This digital platform aims to provide continuity to the diversity, conservation and universalisation of the habit of saving and exchanging seeds, a cultural practice common in sustainable agriculture.
We intend that the seed bank grows in the number of species and varieties and reaches the most significant number of people, ensuring that the community always has saved and planted seeds available.
This website also provides content and activities developed by the school community, which involves more than 250 students from Josefa de Óbidos School and Ressano Garcia School in Lisbon. Knowledge sharing is constantly being updated.
