Vegetable garden planning: intercropping of plants

Have you listened to the concept of co-planting?
It consists of growing two or more crops with different cycles and vegetative architectures close to each other. Certain plants are more productive if they are in proximity to other specific plants.
Imagine the tomato and the cucumber, a perfect pair in a salad, although they must be kept apart in the vegetable garden.
Good planning is needed to have a sustainable vegetable garden.
